Cookie Policy

Git Green uses a small set of essential browser technologies; it does not use advertising trackers.

Essential session cookie

NextAuth sets a secure session cookie so the site can recognize your signed-in GitHub account, protect order data, and prevent cross-site request forgery. The service cannot provide authenticated features without it.

Local browser storage

Your theme preference and unfinished contribution plan may be saved on your device so a refresh, sign-in redirect, or canceled checkout does not erase your work. The order draft contains dates, times, timezone, and an optional coupon code—not your GitHub access token or payment card. You can clear it through your browser storage controls.

Payment provider

When you choose to pay, you leave Git Green for Stripe's hosted checkout. Stripe may set cookies required for fraud prevention, payment security, and checkout operation under its own privacy and cookie notices.

Your controls

Blocking essential cookies will prevent sign-in and checkout. You can remove local draft and theme data without closing your GitHub account. For more detail about retained order data, read the Privacy Policy.
